Hard to say. TR6 have a reputation for the rear springs sagging, so it's
possible that just the springs were tired when the spacers were installed.
"Back in the day" no one tried to really fix these cars, they weren't worth it.
Plus mostly the kind of people that owned a British sports car had no money
anyway (I certainly didn't). So, we just tried to keep them out of the
junkyard a bit longer.
