Exactly what I've been thinking. All of this concern over a split caliper.
Did anyone ever stop to think about how many folks have put new rubber into
an old master cylinder with scores that are aimed at us on the highway? Lots
have done so in too many types of cars to mention. Yikes guys, what about
all of the beaters aimed at us every day? I'd rather have a TR enthusiast
who split his calipers and re-assembled them with new seals on the highway
with me than a lot of the stuff out there every day.
