A quick caveat to the TR2 comment--the later TR2s did have a chrome trim .
It goes down one side across the bottom and up the other side of the
opening . There is no cross piece on top.Now these are rare.Later TR2s have
painted front hinges and chrome rear hinges and a chrome grab handle . 
Albert Roth in Manhattan Beach Ca. made the spats for TRs but that was a
longtime ago. He may still have a set left and he still around.
