valve clearances

Thanks to all who responded to my questions. I checked the Isky web site, 
and they only list 2 cams for the TR6; a road/race and a more radical race 
cam. They recommend a 0.016" clearance, hot, for the milder cam. Why hot, I 
don't know, but I guess that's what I should go by.
