Hi all,
So, I got the head off tonight! A lot more rope, some pieces off wood, and
a lot of patience did the trick. Thanks for the suggestions. Now I am not
sure what to do next! I have started to remove the studs. I have question
about the clyinders in a TR6 block - are they lined? I ask because the
metal around the cylinders - maybe a 1/16-3/32 or so is a slightly different
color than the rest of the block. One of the cylinders (#2 or 3 I think)
has some very slight surface rust on it. I guess this means the block has
to be rebored, which means new cylinders? Sounds expensive...
Thanks for any insights you all can provide.
Off to look at the TRF website....
