Was this for a total of one gallon mixed or one gal of primer and one gal of
hardener? The PPG stuff is mixed one to one so asking for a gallon of primer
will get you 2 gal of sprayable mix. Don't know current cost.
There are many colors ( red, blue, gray, black, gray/green and maybe white )
of epoxy primer, the black is great for frames as it can be left as is.
Epoxy primer is a good choice for a first coat, using primer surfacer as a
first coat leads to rust if the paint is chipped. If you are going to top
coat,
do so in a week otherwise the surface will need a light sand and a thin coat
of epoxy prior to any subsequent coats.
