My '74 TR6 recently developed a miss at speed that didn't go away with new plugs, dwell adjustment, and timing adjustment. It idles steady at 800 rpm, and removing each spark plug lead causes it to slow, so it doesn't appear that it is missing at idle. But at speed it goes flat with a noticeable miss. Does this sound like a bad coil? Thanks for any advice, Tim 1974 TR6 1980 Spit === This list supported in part by The Vintage Triumph Register === http://www.vtr.org |
