I had a similar problem with my '3B.  The car wasn't running at the time, so 
the sheriff's deputy came to the house.  He looked at the car and signed the 
paper.  Took about 10 minutes.  I do not remember what it cost so it must 
not have been much.

It did seem strange to have a police car pull up to the house.
