I've stayed out of this thread so far because an early responder provided a link to my web page about how a TR3 & 4 thermostat works. I don't have anything to say beyond what is on the page. Though I am puzzled about the people who use incorrect thermostats and either close off the bypass flow completely or do not restrict it at all.
