Look for a Tridon EL13 "electronic" flasher. It's a bit bigger than the
clip on my TR3A, so you may need to spread the clip a bit (or get a clip,
mine probably isn't original), and it's usually quite a bit more expensive
than a thermal flasher. But it's plug compatible, and less sensitive to low
voltage than the Lucas replacements.

Tridon now belongs to Trico, so it's possible they'll change the name on the
package, but I haven't seen it yet. The "EL13" should stay the same,
though.

Another alternative, if you're so inclined, is to change the wiring of the
indicator lamp on the dash. It was originally grounded to the tie point on
the back of the dash. If you remove it's ground wire from the tie point,
and connect it to switched power (like the hot terminal of the starter
button), then you can use the Trico 550 (or equivalent) thermal 3-terminal
flasher sold in any auto parts store. They also seem to work well with low
voltage and high power bulbs.
