Doug,

Battery chargers will work, as will any other kind of 12V power supply device.
Our great Canadian Tire stores (www.canadiantire.ca) has all kinds of stuff in
their Automotive section under 'Portable Power & 12V Accessories' and 'Car
Batteries, Chargers & Accessories'. I'm sure you can get some ideas from there.

Hi all,

Once in a while I need a 12v source at the work bench and I know I
could simply tap a battery, but I'm looking for something I could
simply "switch on" at the work bench. Nothing I can imagine right now
would require major amps. I was wondering if I could use a battery
charger as a power source, or is there a better solution.

I know someone out there has an answer! :-)

Thanks,

Doug
