I'd agree. I've never been ripped off. I believe some
people carefully leave out pertinent facts; but, it is
buyer beware. You have to ask the right questions.
Always assume that you could lose your purchase price.
If it's worth that risk, then buy it on eBay.
Otherwise, pass. Look for good feedback, but beware
of a seller with low feedback, or only good feedback
on trivial items, when they are selling you an
expensive item.
I have gotten a lot of good stuff for my cars through
eBay.
