Oh contraire, I replaced the lights in my speedo and tach and the light level
came up significantly. I can actually read the gauges at night.
You're right about melting the bubble but that only serves to increase the
gauge lighting all the more. My Ammeter is now extra bright.
They are quite pricey, however. Especially if you buy them from the vendor
who frequents many of the car shows that feature MG's.
