Pontiac Fiero will also fit. In fact, lots of things will fit TR4-6. Very
few (Miata & Fiero) will fit a TR2/3. I spent a half of a day one time
walking around a scrap yard measuring seats.

Dear Listers
1. I'm thinking of getting some more comfortable seating for my 74 TR6 and
installing a pair of Miata seats. Does anyone have any experience positive
or negative with this step?
2. My plan is to have the Miata seats recovered to match the rest of the
interior. And I'll set the originals aside to have available when the sad
day comes to sell the car.
