What brand is this car?
If the oil pan is easy to pull, take it off to clean. Clean the pick up
screen too.
If the pan is difficult to pull, change the oil in 1000 miles and leave it at
that.
Using ATF, Kerosene, diesel fuel or motor flush in a can is not a good idea.
These solvents cut loose sludge then clog the pickup screen causing a loss of
oil pressure. Having dirty engine internals then flushing them out offers
no benefit.
