One of the more illustrious listers informed me that the Torque Reaction Arm
is listed in Moss UK, as being available, and at what seems to be a reasonable
price. Even with shipping, the prefered approach might be to order from the
UK.
I would likely have to have 2-3 times the cost to the US in order to make it
a viable repro project.
I dont know how useful this part is, but it is certainly far better than a
direct contact with frame or body. The vibration tends to froth the gas in the
bowl...not good.
If someone would inquire about the actual available and it still turns out 10
or more folks are interested in this part, let me know. I would put together
a quote, if there is a need and desire to have these.
(thanks to the lister who alerted me to Moss UK)
Again, I dont know how much good these arms do, but if they fit on a
TR4/TR4A, and they are available there is no reason NOT to have them installed.
I have
one on CT15008L, my #197 vintage racer.
