when my car ran my TR4 torque arm got a lot of use - my motor mounts were in
fair shape and still intact but the torque arm rubber bumper was well worn and
where it hits the frame was a polished bright metal spot - there's definitely
action there.
Probably lengthens life of not only the front engine mounts but the rear
mount as well.
I would think this is the perfect item to get at Brit wrecking yard - cheap
and low interest. (brand new rubber button is available at the usual vendors)

I might have found the root cause of my broken motor mount problem. I have
no Reaction Torque Arm. Its missing. I've had this TR4 since November of
2004, and its been a total dream. This is strong engine, but given the
missing
bracket, too strong for the just the two front rubber motor mounts.
