That's what it's always meant. It is a lost art, or skill, or
whatever. Nobody knows how to do it, what it is. Pull up to a
curbside parking space in traffic around here and the car behind you
pulls right up on your bumper, blocking you from backing into the
space. When they finally get pissed off enough and pull around you,
every other car does so too, honking their horns when your nose
swings out as you try to begin backing in.
