Saw both of the cars at Dixon this year, my first. Did miss seeing you though
Bill. Rosey and Casper seemed to be unattended on the occasions I passed them.
Both are by the way beautiful pieces of work. I was up with my TR-6 but did not
put it into competition. I'm just not the competing type I guess. It did
however do just fine on the drive over from Windsor. Hit 85 mph on a couple of
stretches of 80 and it just hummed along. Great day at the fairgrounds, my
congratulations to all of the organizers.

No good deed goes unpunished ... I have spent 4 years trying to
get at least 3 small mouth Triumphs (TR2, TR3) to pre-register at
our UBSCC car show at Dixon ... well this year there were Four (4)
... Three really great TR2s and Casper ... Casper did take 2nd
place, but I think it was a sympathy vote ... Oh ... the
punishment ... Well AnnaBelle entered Rosey (1970 TR6) for the
FIRST TIME ... and took 1st Place ... Won ... Beat everyone
... oh well there is always next year.

Dixon was a huge success this year, weather was perfect, both
the Swap Meet and the Show fields were full ... we are either
going to have to restrict the number of cars or get a bigger
place <G> We gave awards to about 30 different classes of cars (we
had 196 pre-registered) and I think the total was around 260 ...

You can mark your calendar for next year ... May 14, 2006
