B&B makes different types of clutches ... but I've never seen any of them
with staples to hold the fingers down.  I suspect the key here is to inspect
your new pressure plate and look to see if it has such staples.  Should be
pretty obvious ... see if anything comes loose as you tighten down the bolts
that hold it to the flywheel.
