If they are off the car, I would bead blast them and paint them. When I did
mine, the "color" was
still a little uneven after the bead blast so I painted them with EastWood's
"Aluma blast". I
suppose other "good" silver colors such as Argent Silver would do as well. I
POR-15'd and used
Chassis Coat Black on the springs, but I expect at this point I will install
new springs.
FWIW, I believe the trailing arms were originally painted black. I could see
remnants of black paint
on my TR250 and I'm the original owner.
I expect powder coat would be better, but that's what did.
