It seems to me that in the early 1950s, there was a accessory "running light" that mounted on the grill, and was wired to turn on with the ignition, pretty bright and in those days, different enough to get your attention ... wonder if it still exists ...: > > > >>Yes more visible, but at the expense of blurring out the turn signals.
