Randall et al,
You ask me why I wish to install a alternator into my (currently being
rebuilt) TR3?

Well, I live in a college town with rows of cellphone-chit-chatting SUV
drivers and I shudder to think if my 60 TR3 will be seen as outstanding (both
literally and physically) by many motorists'.  In fact,  I am thinking about
always driving with my headlights turned on (like motorcyclist's).  Thus the
need for more amperage.

What do others think about this?
