Listers,
I'm rebuilding my -4's gearbox, and, although the clutch cross shaft
bushings looked and felt OK, I decided to replace 'em anyway. After
punching them out with a 5/8" socket (easily done by seating the socket on
the inside of the case and tapping, for those who haven't been there yet),
it was apparent that replacing them was a good idea. But that's not the
point here. The originals measured 3/8" across, while the Moss
replacements are 3/4"! Yea Moss! These bushings will last forever. And
their clutch cross shaft is drilled and tapped for grease fittings, so
that's one less thing I'll have to worry about.
Tnx Moss for doing it right!
