Hi! What is the correct side the split in piston should be fitted in
bores,cam side or other.Looked in many manuals dont really say.This engine
has already been down by others,have a feeling they were fitted
incorrect.Any help would be greatful

Note The split should read "SLOT" which is only on one side in the skirt wall.
Hope this clears what i was meaning.
