Had an opportunity to watch the original Italian Job last night. Kinda
neat. Love those Mini Coopers.
I did have occasion to laugh very hard when Michael goes into the garage
before the caper and they are outfitting the Minis. One is up on jacks and
the rear wheels are removed . Michael asks " What's wrong?'" The mechanic
answers, " He's been having a problem with the differential." Perhaps the
Brits were having a little joke on an unsuspecting Yank audience who didn't
know that Minis were front-drive.
Wouldn't be the first or last time.
