adjusting antenna for AM

I think it is called trimming the antenna.  If I remember correctly, you
tune the radio to the weakest station you can find at the 550 end of the
dial and then turn the adjusting screw, which is usually close to where the
antenna wire enters the radio, until the weak station gets as strong as it
can get.
