TR6 oil filter

Does anyone know about the spin-on oil filters for the TR6? I noted a
while ago that the one on my car was a GUD Z119, and bought a
replacement that matched it. When I replaced it yesterday, though, the
one I took off was marked 250 rather than 119. What do the numbers refer
to? Is it critical as long as the thing fits OK?
