well, you got the major culprits. Fuel pump, ignition..
BUT, are you getting fuel to the carbs? Are the float bowls full? If you
can't tell (ZS carbs) then ;pull off the fuel line feeding the carbs and have
someome crank the engine. Does fuel spurt out of the line pretty heavily? If
not the line may be plugged somewhere.
Do you have spark to the plugs? Pull off an ignition wire and see if the spark
will jump a half inch or so to a grounded part of the engine. Try to avoid
being the ground yourself! I have jolted myself this way a few times. Its a
shocking experience!
Try to keep the ignition settings as per the manual so when you DO fix the
actual problem, then it will actually run!!!
