I just found something on eBay that brought back some old memories... My
freakin' TR6 that I owned when I was in college! The car looks just like I
remember it.
Sadly, I parted with the car a little over 10 years ago. It had sat in my
carport for several years in non-running condition after college after I had
removed and rebuilt the transmission. I had reassembled it, but had been
unable to get the clutch to work properly or even get the engine to fire
back up. I had other hobbies at the time, and my wife and I had just bought
a new house. We decided that the car would not make the move, so I sold
it... for a fraction of what it appears it will now go for. :(
Anyway, the car does not look like it's changed a bit from when I owned it.
It looks like a dealership has it listed, and the town is just a couple of
hours from here. I think I'll drive my TR4 up there this weekend and see if
I can't get a couple of pictures of the two cars together.
Sorry, I just had to share... I always wondered what had happened to the
car.
