Chances are the plate would be a New York plate, which won't do anyone any
good. New York plates stayed with the owner and not the car (that's still the
case today), and back then plates were usually replaced with new ones every
couple of years. It wasn't until 1966 that we got the first "permanent" plates.
But I'd still be curious as to the plate number(s)! ;-)
