In upgrading Huxley (the Red Spit) to Electronic Fuel injection, I have
the following surplus that someone might be interested in.
It is a pair of rebuilt 1.25" SU's on a Mk3 Manifold that has had the
PCV port (on the top) welded shut.
The carbs have had new shafts and bushings installed so except for
coming up with the proper needles for your application, they should
pretty much be a drop-in application. The float chambers have gross
jets installed and have been adjusted with shims so that they are
properly set.
All the linkage is included and has been converted to a cable actuator.
I also have a spare accelerator pedal with the cable attachment if
anyone also needs that part.
I would like to get $150 plus shipping for the setup and $15 for the
pedal assembly. Anyone on any of the alternative Spitfire lists, please
forward this for me.

P.S. I also have the cold air box that I fabricated for the setup. It
will need the ducting to the front of the radiator and an air cleaner
installed there, but it works well. I'll throw it in at no extra cost.
