Check the hoses for the demister and eyeball vents. They're all probably
very brittle. You also might want to clean the inside face of all your
gauges.

After struggling with getting my windscreen and dash apart I have finally
succeeded thanks to everyone's advice. Is there anything I should do while
I have it apart? I'm replacing all the dash padding, wood and the
windscreen gasket.
