Hi,
I have acquired a '76 TR which has been prepared for rallying and it came with
a rumour
that it was fitted with some kind of uprated cam. It is a "standard" 2 litre
engine but it
is obvious that someone has spent some time on it. Although it hadn't run for
some time,
under the cam cover everything is shiny and spotless. I don't want to strip the
anything
off the engine as it is now running very well but I have found "T14" stamped on
the end of
the cam nearest the bulkhead.
The engine would have been re-built a good few years ago but has anyone any
clues as to
how I may identify this cam in situ?
