TR4 front engine plate question

Is the front engine plate on the TR4 engine supposed to be completely
flat? 
 
I just blasted mine in prep for re-coating and it has a slight
bend/crease on either side radiating down from the top of the triangular
engine mount supports to the bottom of the plate. The bottom edge is
therefore not completely straight like it shows in the parts manual.
 
If it's supposed to be flat, does anyone have a good one that they'll
part with?
