Sujit,

I don't know anyone who rebuilds them.  I have always heard (hearsay?)that
the distributor builders throw them all in a big box and when your
distributor is rebuilt, they just pick out one that works and use it.  Don't
know if that's true, but it would explain some of the non-correct advance
and retard units that I've seen on rebuilt units.  It might be possible to
buy a new one - have you tried any UK suppliers?  I have found that for some
items (especially distributor parts), UK suppliers have things in stock that
Moss and TRF list as NLA.
