Is it worth it to have my engine balenced while it is at the machine shop? Paul Dorsey 60 TR3 - haden't started to work on it yet but still planning! Paul, Yes it is. If it's done correctly you should take the crank, pistons, rod bearings and wrist pins. Don't forget to take the harmonic balancer too! The pistons and rods should come back numbered by cylinder. And the balancer should be marked at TDC. John in San Diego |
