I wondered when we would get around to that ... on my TR3A I mounted the fan
close behind the radiator => no apparent impact on cooling at speed.   The
Stag didn't have enough room behind, so it's close in front => the gauge
creeps up at 70 mph in hot weather (and didn't before I added the electric
fan).
