Now all this talk of white engines and white chassis has prompted me to askthe experts on this list: Were all TR4A chassis painted black? The reason I ask this is that on a 1965 dealer brochure that I have for the new TR4A clearly shows pictures of a white car with a white chassis. This brochure regularly shows up on eBay so some of you may have it. It is the one that is A4 size and opens out to twice its' size. So why the white chassis?
