I'm installing poly bushings on the rear shackles holding the leaf springs. Is it advisable to apply a silicone grease to the inner and outer surfaces of the bushings before installing them? I'm applying a graphite grease on the pin holding the front eye of the spring as that is metal-to-metal. Right course? Thanks, all. Bill Stagg 1960 TR3A Indianapolis, Today's Winter Wonderland |
