Good quality plywood and steam is the answer to properly bending the plywood to fit the seat bottoms. You should use heavy duty paper to make patterns, cut the plywood to match the patters and then steam them so they become sooooo very plyable, they can be attached using split rivets. The steaming device can be made out of appropriately diametered PVC with an end plug installed and feeding the steam in from the kitchen stove from a pot of boiling water. Back to lurk mode. Jack |
