Plus, I guess you could consider this a radical GT6-rebody:

Or at least it was going to be before The Missus ratcheted up a
campaign for an automatic transmission . . . the plan now is to put a
'79 Buick 3.8 liter V6 and AT in a 1980 Spitfire chassis (still haven't
found an acceptable rear axle, though, to handle the 150+ ft lb of
torque with a 3.0-3.5 final drive and a rear track of 50-51").
