WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING ?!
IMO, it depends. If the car is otherwise a 90+ point restoration, then yes,
an alternator will probably hurt it's resale value. OTOH, it should be
possible to do the conversion in a totally reversible fashion, so you could
have your alternator while driving the car, then when you're ready to sell,
put the generator back on (and sell the alternator conversion kit on eBay
<g>).
