Coming in late on this thread, but I have a steel "wrench" that I purchased several years ago the fits over the knock-off. It's handle is about two feet long, so you can get good leverage and avoid any banging to loosen the nuts. I rag in between prevents scratches. I think I got it at TRF, but I don't remember for sure.
