OK...I found the Piggott's book and everyone is correct, the change over to 9 inch occurred at TS56377 (Jun 1959). That being said, I found a set of 240Z drums that I know I cannot use on eBay for starting bid of $9.99. Those of you who have 9 inch drums may want to check out eBay item # 2440457808 , they look a little rusty but the swept surface appears to be freshly ground... -- Bill Pugh 1957 TR3 aka Casper Wallace, CA |
