I had problems with determining the number of shims required for
correct spacing on the hydraulic throw out bearing. I finally
contacted Herman and he confirmed that I had screwed up...then he and
Helena drove up here (300 miles) to correct my error (s) and to help
me finish the installation!! I consider that far and above normal
vendor obligation, I will be happy to plug Herman and his conversion
to anyone...
I was thrilled to see that Herman got such a great write up in
Kas Kastner's new book, even to be picked as the West Coast guy to
see about transmissions...if you have the book, check pages
170,171,172, and 173
