Obviously a great disappointment to many that the weather was so bad? Shame.
But out of adversity may come strength? No-one should complain too much. The
weather was obviously true to prototype, being singularly British Summer by
its nature. And did the cars on display prove their questionable resistance to
water ingress this year as they did when new and came fresh off the line?
If it makes you feel any better, the weather in the UK was perfect. Saturday
saw a new hottest day record of 101deg F. This after a week or more of blazing
sun. Aint life hard?
