on a hot day, i will be cruising along and of course turn on the air
conditioner. when i turn on the air conditioner i note that the voltage
drops from what appears to be 14v (approx) to just above 12v (approx). the
water temp starts to rise a little from 180 to about 190. then soon the
engine starts cutting out. either the fuel is percolating and i am getting
like vapor lock / air in the fuel line or the voltage is dropping so low
that the battery drops below threshold and the ignition stops firing /
missing dramatically. since i can only replicate the problem while driving
i am trying to figure it out. any thoughts ?
thanks, larry
