In theory it should allow them to run, since it only monitors the battery's
state of charge, not whether the ignition switch is on or not.  Presumably
your fans wouldn't suck the battery low enough to trigger the lockout,
unless there was a problem with them.

I can't find a spec for what voltage trips it, but they do say under
Benefits : "Ability to use accessories when engine is off".
