Restoration on ol' TS42099L is progressing along and I
am now on the rear half of frame. First order of
business is to get axle off and change all
questionable bits. I suppose this includes changing
the wheel bearings, which I hear isn't easy. Seems the
only real way to do it is to use the appropriate hub
extraction tool. If anyone out there (close by or in
New Mexico?) has one of these gems they wouldn't mind
lending out, I would be most grateful. I assume I just
need it to get hub apart and I can get by with
convential effort to get it back together at a later
point? Anything else beside the bearing and seal that
I should replace while in there?
TIA!
